“Overall, the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. 2nd time staying here. 1st time we’ve had an issue. Lost all water pressure and had no running water when we got back to our hotel at night after being at the race track all day. Called the front desk, she said she was aware but no eta. No one followed up or informed us on what was going on. We just kept checking the faucet. Finally at 3am we were able to take showers.”

“The only downside was the pool & hot tub were closed for maintenance. This hotel is absolutely lovely & the staff is so friendly.”

“Got there to check in and had no reservation. The motel hadn't received anything from Expedia. Supposedly. I don't know or really care who dropped the ball. The establishment in no way appeared to meet the standards for a licensed motel. So we left Oskaloosa to spend an evening's money elsewhere.”

“First of all this is an older building and it is in need of repair. And it offers a discounted price to compensate for this. Don't let the outward appearance discourage you. I stayed 5 nights. The location is just out of town and is a safe location to stay in. The room I had was very clean. The bedding, furniture, towels were in very good condition. They looked new. The AC worked very well, and the refrigerator was good sized and cold. You could set the thermostat where you wanted it. ……

“Gorgeous, immaculately clean lake house with tons of space to relax. Lots of bedrooms-perfect for a ladies weekend away. This place is comfortable and nicely decorated. Right on the lake - will be beautiful when the lake is filled after construction is complete. Lots of extras-entertainment in garage, bikes, stocked kitchen with everything you could possible need plus staples, drinks, and an amazing coffee bar. Plush towels in all bathrooms too! Hosts were quick to respond to questions ahead of……

“What a jewel this house is - the history and the care in renovating are phenomenal. I slept upstairs and enjoyed it very much. I love all the windows which allow a lot of light into the house. I was surprised how close it was to the street and we did hear some street noise through the night. The coffee bar was wonderful as was the garden which notes all of the flowers that have been planted. I really enjoyed that.”

“What a Joy to stay in this wonderful home! 4 sisters-in-law from the Northwest corner of Iowa traveled to Tulip Time! It was so nice to have such a welcoming home to come to. We had a wonderful stay! was wonderful to sit on the patio in the evening and enjoy the nice weather. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. The coffee pot was great drip and kerug pods! Very nice sitting area to visit by the TV. Thanks for such a wonderful stay. Our Host and Hostess were excellent on……
